Das Instrumentarium VERTEBRIS lumbar ist für voll-endoskopische Dekompressionen an der Lendenwirbelsäule und Brustwirbelsäule konzipiert. Typische Indikationen sind u.a. The excellent optical properties of the Vertebris discoscopes form the basis for intraoperative visualisation and guide special instruments into the operating field. The universal design of the instrument set also allows the indications to be expanded by gradually adding new components.
A large selection of sterile and reusable reamers is available for every surgical application. Specially developed reamers and shavers are the results and innovative solutions of many years of development.
Trans- /extraforaminal technique
The transforaminal and extraforaminal surgical technique utilises the intervertebral foramen to access the pathology. A puncture cannula is used to access the intervertebral disc through the intervertebral foramen (transforaminal) or to the pedicle (extraforaminal) under X-ray control. After dilatation and insertion of the working sleeve, further surgery is performed through the discoscopes under continuous fluid irrigation with high-resolution endoscopic imaging.
Precision instruments such as forceps, punches, electrodes and cutters with a special design enable the operation to be performed effectively.
