VERTICALE® MultiLocking
VERTICALE MultiLocking is an extension of the dorsal VERTICALE screw-rod system and facilitates the treatment of complex deformities or fractures of the spine. It can be used in both open and minimally invasive procedures.
FULL CORRECTION CONTROL
VERTICALE MultiLocking allows the surgeon to maintain control over the screw tulip position and to change the extent of correction intraoperatively by changing the orientation of the screw head independently of the screw shaft.
UNIQUE LOCKING MECHANISM
The MultiLocking pedicle screws have an innovative locking mechanism that allows the polyaxiality of the screw head to be locked without having to use a rod or grub screw. This means that polyaxial and monoaxial pedicle screws can be imitated in any orientation. This gives you the freedom to change or maintain the optimum orientation of the screw tulip at any time.
EXTENDED CORRECTION OPTIONS
The system can be used to actively adjust the lordosis or kyphosis, perform rotational manoeuvres or even parallel distraction or compression. The corrective manoeuvres can be performed without inserted rods and allow a wide range of applications, including the treatment of complex deformities or fractures of the spine.
