VERTICALE is a dorsal double-rod fixator for thoracic and lumbar stabilisation of the spine. In both open and minimally invasive applications, VERTICALE enables controlled stabilisation of degenerative spinal disorders and comfortable correction of deformities.
During development, we placed particular emphasis on the ergonomics, modularity and clarity of the system. Bi-functional 2-in-1 instruments and modular handle options for the instruments support the surgeon at work, while customisable screw trays make the system easier to use and can save a lot of space in the operating theatre.
The system was developed in close collaboration with experienced spinal surgeons and specialists from operating theatres and sterilisation departments. With its polyaxial and reduction screws, whether solid or cannulated and fenestrated, in combination with 5.5 mm titanium or cobalt-chrome rods, VERTICALE is suitable for a wide range of indications.
VERTICALE, like all other implants and instruments developed by Silony Medical, is a so-called living system. Whether instrument or implant - we are constantly working to expand and further improve systems.
VERTICALE polyaxial screws: Slim and manoeuvrable. Fully comprehensive!
The high deflection of the VERTICALE polyaxial screw head at 52° makes it easier to adapt the other system components to the respective anatomical conditions.
VERTICALE monoaxial screws: The fixed point in the system.
The rigid connection between the screw neck and threaded shaft gives the VERTICALE monoaxial screw the greatest possible rigidity.
VERTICALE uniplanar screws:The direction is fixed.
The VERTICALE uniplanar screw combines the lateral stiffness of a monoaxial screw with the craniocaudal mobility of a polyaxial screw.

The convenient selection options offer maximum flexibility so that these occasionally challenging conditions can be treated safely and intuitively.
